Der Kurs wird vom EU-Rat und CISSE UK, einer \u00f6ffentlichen Organisation f\u00fcr Cybersicherheitsausbildung, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Northumbria University organisiert. Er findet an diesem Wochenende im preisgekr\u00f6nten Geb\u00e4ude f\u00fcr Informatik und Informationswissenschaften der Northumbria University statt. Northumbria genie\u00dft einen starken Ruf im Bereich Cybersicherheit und ist akademischer Partner des EC-Council sowie ein akkreditiertes Pr\u00fcfungszentrum f\u00fcr die Zertifizierung \u201eCertified Ethical Hacker\u201c, eine international anerkannte Qualifikation. Alle Studierenden im letzten Studienjahr der Studieng\u00e4nge Computernetzwerke und Cyber Security B.Sc. an der Northumbria University haben die M\u00f6glichkeit, die Pr\u00fcfung zum Certified Ethical Hacker abzulegen und bei Erfolg zus\u00e4tzlich eine separate Qualifikation des EC-Council sowie ihren Abschluss zu erhalten.<\/p>\n

Dr. Neil Eliot ist leitender Dozent an der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Informatik und Informationswissenschaften der Northumbria University und koordiniert die Zusammenarbeit der Universit\u00e4t mit CISSE und dem EU-Rat, die zu dieser Wochenendveranstaltung gef\u00fchrt hat. Als zertifizierter Ethical Hacker seit 2014 ist Eliot der Ansicht, dass es entscheidend ist, Lehrkr\u00e4fte mit den neuesten F\u00e4higkeiten im Bereich Cybersicherheit auszustatten, um sicherzustellen, dass Studierende \u00fcber die Kompetenzen verf\u00fcgen, die sie ben\u00f6tigen, um eine zunehmend digitale Welt zu sch\u00fctzen. Das bedeutet jedoch, dass ihre Lehrkr\u00e4fte stets \u00fcber die neuesten Entwicklungen im Bereich Cybersicherheit informiert sein m\u00fcssen\u201c, f\u00fcgte Eliot hinzu.<\/p>\n

Philip Blake, Regionaldirektor des EC-Council (Europa), sagte: \u201eDie Academic Division des EC-Council ist fest davon \u00fcberzeugt, Fakult\u00e4ten, Studierende und Cybersicherheits-\u00d6kosysteme weltweit zu unterst\u00fctzen. Organisationen wie CISSE haben in Zusammenarbeit mit Hochschulen, Wirtschaft und Regierung ebenfalls eine wichtige Rolle bei der Erweiterung und Weiterentwicklung der Cybersicherheitsagenda gespielt.
