How to Access Meta Muse AI Outside the US

The main problem for users outside the United States is availability: Meta says Muse is currently rolling out in the US on iOS, Android and the web through muse.ai.

How to Access Muse AI Outside the US: Quick Steps
If you only want to try Muse, start on a desktop or laptop. The browser route is easier because you do not have to deal with App Store or Google Play country restrictions.

Why a VPN Helps With Muse AI

The Easiest Method: Use Muse AI in a Desktop Browser
1. Connect to the US Before Opening Muse

2. Open a Private Window

Try the Other Free US Location
Close the Muse tab, disconnect from the current server and connect to the other free US location. Then open a new private browser window and try muse.ai again.
Different VPN servers use different public IP addresses, so one may work even when another does not.
Try a Premium US Server

Do not confuse your public IP with the local address shown in your Wi-Fi settings. An address such as 192.168.x.x exists only inside your home or office network and does not determine what country Muse sees.

A leak can expose information connected to your normal internet connection even while the VPN appears to be active. For a browser-based service like Muse, WebRTC leaks are especially important, because WebRTC is a browser feature that can reveal your real IP address to websites.

How to Get Muse AI on iPhone Outside the US
On iPhone, you have two separate regional checks to consider: Muse itself and the App Store.
A VPN can give your iPhone a US IP address, but it does not automatically change the country associated with your Apple Account. The official app is listed as Muse from Meta in the App Store. Check the developer name before installing to avoid copycat apps.
Try the App Store First

If Muse AI Is Not Available in Your App Store
Your Apple Account country may be the reason. According to Apple’s official instructions for changing an Apple Account country or region, you may need to spend your remaining account balance, cancel subscriptions that prevent the change and enter payment information and a billing address for the new region.
For that reason, changing the region of your main Apple Account just to test Muse can create unnecessary problems with subscriptions and purchases. If possible, get Muse working in the browser first.
A less disruptive option is a separate Apple Account set to the US. You can sign in to it only for App Store purchases (Settings > your name > Media & Purchases) while keeping your main account for iCloud. Apple may still ask for a billing address and payment method, so only provide details you are legitimately entitled to use.
Remember that downloading the app and accessing Muse are separate issues. Even after installing the app, keep the US VPN connected when you open Muse.
How to Get Muse AI on Android Outside the US
Android has a similar issue with Google Play. Your VPN IP can point to the US while your Google Play profile remains associated with another country. The official app is listed as Muse on Google Play; check that the developer is Meta before installing.
Try Your Existing Google Account First

If Muse AI Still Does Not Appear
Your Play country may be the limiting factor. Google says in its official instructions for changing Google Play country that content can vary by region. To set up a new Play country, Google requires you to be in that location and have a payment method from the new country or region.
Google also says you must wait at least 90 days before changing your Play country again, and a new country profile can take up to 48 hours to update.
A separate Google account created while connected to a US VPN can still be worth testing, but it is not guaranteed to override Google’s country requirements. Do not use fake billing details, addresses or payment information.
Avoid downloading Muse APK files from third-party websites. Unofficial APKs can be outdated, modified or bundled with malware, and they will not remove Muse’s own regional check. If the Play Store route does not work, use muse.ai in the browser instead.
Do You Need to Change Your Timezone or Device Region?
Usually not. Start with the settings that matter most: your public IP, browser session, Meta account and mobile app-store country.
Changing your timezone, language or device region does not give you a US IP address. Consider those settings only if the main steps fail and your device is still presenting conflicting regional information.
On mobile, also review Muse’s location permission. GPS data can reveal a physical location that does not match the US IP provided by the VPN.
